For rising 3rd grade students
We understand that 3rd grade can be a GAME CHANGER for some children! For example, children in 3rd are no longer being taught the underlying skills to read, but are expected to read for information! Or in 3rd grade, children may not be just practicing basic math facts, but are also expected to apply facts to solve word problems. They are certainly expected to organize their materials and manage their time, along with managing their emotions and being a good friend at the same time! Whew, it can be a lot!
However, there is no need to worry! This summer, the children in our Thrilling 3rd-grade group will have all of the FUN, while learning, but will also have LOTS of support in reading, writing, math, executive functioning, and social skills in the morning!
In the afternoons, children will have lunch, and engage in fun activities such as robotics, sports, arts, water sports, and local field trips!
