Once students select colleges to which they would like to apply, how do they complete applications in a manner that sets them apart from other applicants?

About the Instructor

This summer, we are THRILLED to have Ms. Ciara Miller, as she supports high school students on their college admissions journey! It excites her to help students communicate who they are on paper in a fashion that matches the ideal candidate for the schools to which they apply.

When Ciara isn’t working diligently as a test prep instructor for various high school, college and graduate school admissions tests, she spends a significant amount of time working as an editor.

Additionally, she has published many poems and academic essays. Ciara has earned numerous awards in her field. Most recently she made the Guild Complex’s list of top 30 writers in Chicago to watch!

Ciara holds both an MFA and MA in Poetry and African American/African Diaspora Studies from Indiana University. She also received her BA in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, a school known for its rigorous writing curriculum.
